Upcoming Albums

bit tired today so ill keep this short

Just a quick post to talk about a couple of soon-to-be released albums that I am looking forward to.


To kick things off,

R3C0NF1GUR3D

R3C0NF1GUR3D contains remixes of tracks from the Tron: Legacy soundtrack by Daft Punk. It features remixes from various well-known artists, including The Glitch Mob, The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold, Moby, Boys Noize and Pretty Lights.

I am pumped for this album, not just because I enjoyed the soundtrack in its current state, but also because I can see a lot of names on the tracklisting that I know to be awesome.

 Hanna OST - The Chemical Brothers

I haven't gotten around to watching the trailer for Hanna yet, but I've yet to be let down by The Chemical Brothers, so I am anticipating some great tracks.

It seems like I am only listening to movie scores but this following album (probably my most anticipated) breaks the pattern:

Civilization - Justice

 
Justice have always been among my favourite EDM artists. I thoroughly enjoyed Cross and the only thing that has tarnished my opinion of that is hearing A Cross The Universe which blew me away. Incredible tunes.

I refuse to listen to any less-than-FLAC quality versions or previews of this until it is officially released, and I shall sit in my little bubble of delicious bass and melody and enjoy this new album how it was intended.

Currently Listening to: OK Go - Here It Goes Again

Off to a good start.

2 posts in 1 night! Maybe this isn't as hard as I thought.

I know its severely preemptive but I am already thinking about what I am going to do for my birthday (July)

At this point, I am deciding between:

1. All-out fancy dress, where whatever you want.

This is the level of radness I hope to achieve

This would be good fun as I could play all my music, no restrictions on costumes etc.

2. Mad Men/30's-50's era

 One of the best shows on TV

I think this will be my preference as I will get to pump some classic jazz and blues tunes, as well as some Parov Stelar, who is amazing to say the least.

Oh well, I will keep you posted as shit hits the fan.

Listening to: The Chemical Brothers - Block Rockin' Beats

Hello world!

This feels interesting.

I'm up at 1:30am typing this and I'm not sure what the future holds, for me or this humble blog.

This will be an interesting experience at least.


Oh well, to kick things off, I guess I should introduce myself.

My name is maski. Of course, that isnt my real name, but I'm going to stick with maski. I am currently in year 12 doing a primarily art/media course. I play TF2 competitively, but I probably wont go into any detail about that as I hope to keep this blog about my life. You know, a web log.

Seems kind of fitting.
